For: Dogs under 6 months of age

Cost: $100 ($75 if adopted from shelter)

Meets: Once a week (1 hour) for 6 weeks

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is a program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The Program is an incentive for dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class.

 

All puppies that attend the six week session will be eligible to take the S.T.A.R. Puppy test during the final class. Dogs do not need to be purebred or AKC registered to participate.

 

Class will work on:

• Socialization

• Attention

• Proper Greetings

• Leash Walking

• Sit

• Down

• Recall

• Everyday puppy issues - housetraining, chewing, etc.
